What we do

We find forever homes for dogs.

We wish to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness.

We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason-

Dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, dogs given up by owners because of difficult situations, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.

We will only place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches. We take the time, educating prospective adopters, about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives

Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate vet care and treatment. We assist dogs without regard to age or breed including being a resource for last resort

why we do it

We’ve been there

We've witnessed so many reasons for people surrendering their dogs. Landlords, new babies, dogs who just cannot live together, these are the top heartbreaking reasons that people surrender their fur babies. We are here to help transition these dogs into new homes, where they can thrive, and we find forever homes that are in a position to provide the best home life for them. Current Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella and spay or neuter information from your vet is required for all surrenders.

Puppies

Puppies are aged 8 weeks to one year. We allow mothers to naturally wean their puppies when they are in our care. We also provide all vaccinations.

Teens/Adults

Our teens and adults are one-year-old to eight-years-old. We provide some basic training, make sure  that they are vaccinated, and spayed / neutered.

Seniors

Our seniors are eight-years-old and up. Most are smaller dogs who just want to enjoy relaxing, and getting belly rubs.

Adopter - April 2020
My girl Blue! I brought Blue home from your wonderful rescue group in April 2020. She has been such a wonderful addition!
Blue
She has been the best girl too. I don't know if her previous owner really worked with her or if Blue and I just connected, or she came out of the box like this LOL. THE most attentive dog, when I call her no matter what she's doing or chasing she does an immediate 180 to come to me. I adore Blue and am so thankful we needed each other at the same time.

Adopter September 2022

Danny and I found ourselves with some extra time this summer with our two human boys away at their Dad’s. So we signed up to volunteer with Pawsitively Saved Rescue. We loved walking all the dogs and petting puppies but were happy to come home to our zoo (2 dogs and 2 cats). We felt our home was complete….until we met Poppy on 9/2 at First Friday.

She was so sweet and when she and Kiana found us shopping at Critter Cabana I knew it was love. We took her home that night and she fit right in. Danny and I felt so connected to our sweet Koa and couldn’t help but feel she sent Poppy to heal us.

Life with a puppy has been busy to say the least! But we are still hoping to find the time to be involved at the rescue. At the very least, we’ll send cute Poppy !
